Kirsten Storms was born April 8th , 1984 in Orlando Florida to the proud parents Mike & Karen Storms.
At the tender age of 5 Kirsten knew she wanted to become an actress, she would attend work with her father who was a sports director and pretend she was a weather girl.
Kirsten was discovered when performing in a local showcase by a talent scout , who persuaded her parents to enroll a prestigious New York acting workshop. Soon after they did, commercials followed.
At 12 Years Old Kirsten landed her first TV Series ” SECOND NOAH”. Her Big Break came though when she was casted in the Original Disney Movie “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century”. The Movie was highest rated ever on Disney at the time and snagged two sequels.
A role that would change Kirsten’s life forever came to her when she was 15 years old, she was cast as the daughter of Daytime Super Couple John and Marlena on Daytime Drama Days of Our Lives as “Belle Black”. While on the show Kirsten even became part of her own Super Couple and was able to create that with “Jason Cook” as Shawn Brady till this day they are talked about as “Classic Shelle” after her 5 year run though Kirsten wanted to try other things.
Kirsten then tried Prime-Time she landed a role on CBS “Clubhouse” playing bad girl “Betsy Young” the daughter that was nothing but trouble, but did change. Sadly the show was cancelled and no one was able to finish seeing the show unless later on they watched on HDNET which aired the final episodes. The show never got a chance, it was moved around too much on CBS it’s like the network wanted it to flop. Kirsten said it was a heartbreaking experience and stated that “It was so sad when it ended, and how it ended was so hard because we had been pre-empted and moved around so many times, we never had a chance to build an audience.”
Kirsten had a four month break and took that time to spend it with Family & Friends but wanted to get back to work. Luckily for her General Hospital was looking to recast “Maxie Jones” and with Kirsten’s impressive resumé and high-profile past daytime experience she was perfect for the role.
Almost 5 Years Later Kirsten has really made the role her own on General Hospital “Maxie Jones” belongs to her now, she brought out so much in the character and has even gained more fans while playing this role.
Kirsten currently resides in L.A with her sister and her room-mate.
